Since our commencement in 2003, Wiser has achieved significant growth and expanded its services from a foundation in civil engineering firm to a GEOINT and Geospatial Services Company. Wiser begun its trajectory by assuming a leading-edge concept through initially providing state of the art GPS/Geodetic positioning services for the first photogrammetric satellites. Wiser has grown notably and offers the following types of businesses: Engineering, Surveying & Mapping, Geospatial Technologies, and, most recently, a Defense, Information & Intelligence Firm. Wiser has become a Government Technical Services firm with an emphasis in federal government work, particularly in support of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community (IC). Wiser’s success is due to a strong management team, quality past performance, and customer satisfaction.
Organization
Wiser’s single largest asset is its dedicated and professional workforce. Wiser offers GEOINT and Lidar services for Federal, State, Local and Commercial Clients. The success Wiser has achieved is directly related to the quality employees within each of its departments. Our employees are highly trained in their given fields. Wiser further develops its employees through cross training across our productions and services. We have established an infrastructure that facilitates this cross-training, enabling us to quickly add personnel to projects when needed.
Management
The Wiser management team develops and executes processes and strategies for the success of the following: flexibility through product lines, safeguarding against risk, communication (external and internal), product quality, and proper resourcing. The management group provides a framework for success that ultimately leads to stronger team skills, engagement by all, dynamic cultures, and customer satisfaction. The Wiser managers utilize project management techniques and tools considered as best practice. Project managers monitor schedule and budgeting requirements throughout the project life cycle. Wiser has project managers who have earned Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials offered through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Project managers are devoted to continual client interaction throughout the project to gauge customer satisfaction, identify developing project needs, and guidance changes. WISER management integrates risk management and quality control into all processes. In addition to traditional management techniques, Wiser’s management uses agile methodologies when applicable. This enables management to enhance and build an incremental method of managing the design and building activities while also delivering the best possible data and analytical service development over the life of the project. Wiser’s spirited approaches help our team respond to the unpredictability of search, organize and report production through incremental, iterative work cadences known as sprints.
